The Deadbolt Mystery Society is a monthly subscription box service for lovers of mystery and suspense. With your subscription, a new mystery box filled with puzzles, evidence, and interviews will be delivered to your door. Our monthly subscription boxes will include a variety of items needed to solve the murder mystery. No two months will be alike. Imagine that you are a consulting detective tasked with solving a particular case. The subscription box will contain all pertinent items needed to ensure your success.

The Mysterious Package Company

Experiences are the Mysterious Package Company's primary product. They are immersive stories told over a series of mailings to the recipient. Each experience contains these core elements:

-Documents and other media

-An element of personalization or customization

-Puzzles or mysteries to solve

-An artifact related to the details of the story, usually in a nailed-shut wooden crate

-A Reveal card identifying who sent the package(s), if they were a gift

Members purchase packages that they send to themselves or a recipient of their choice. The experiences feature genres such as mystery, horror, adventure, time-travel, and science-fiction, and range in duration from 1 to 6 mailings.

Cosy Killer

CosyKiller is an annual murder mystery subscription box delivered directly to your door. Each box is packed with vintage memorabilia, keepsakes and intrigue. Although you can pay as you go - we recommend you start with box 1! If you buy the annual subscription you can start anytime and you will always receive box 1 as your first box.

Each story lasts a year. This means each box only contains part of the puzzle. You'll need a full year to solve the case.

Cosykiller can be played by 1 person, or you can buy the subscription to play with a small group so you can discuss it together when each box arrives over wine or a refreshing gin and tonic... it's up to you! There is no role playing involved. You are the detective, and it's your job to piece together what happened to Marie over the course of a year.

Madmen and Heroes

Each month is a stand-alone story that you can enjoy by itself. The individual mysteries do not need to go in a particular order and you can start at any time . Along with the story of the month, you will receive a new piece of a "meta" story that spans a twelve-month period. In addition to what is in the box, you will need a way to connect to the internet. There will be online activities and if you are anything like us, you will want to do your research and find out more about these fascinating people and their stories.

The Murder Chronicles

Each month, you'll receive a brand-new, original mystery, delivered straight to your doorstep. You'll also receive each of the clues that Heather has to work with. Heather's latest journal entry will introduce the Baker City mystery she's crossed paths with this month. A sealed envelope will hold Heather's subsequent journal entry-and the answer to your mystery. Are you up to the task?

Murder Mystery Box

Each box contains evidence, clues and notes about a crime that has been committed. Follow the evidence to unmask the criminal and their motives. Do you have what it takes to solve the murder mystery?
Each new quarter brings a new case to your door.
The box itself, is a self contained mystery. This means that everything you need to solve the mystery is contained within the box. You don't have to go online to obtain clues. It all comes down to an adventurer like yourself and the box. Contained within this mysterious box you receive an object summarizing a crime that has been committed. This summary could be in the form of a journal, a case file, a personal log, diary, or some other similar item. Additionally, you will be provided with evidence and clues that have been obtained. At specific points of the adventure, you will be prompted to open the clues and review the evidence.
